Figure 31/41 Flanged Cast Iron

Figure 31, 41, and 41A safety valves have two piece bodies and enclosed springs. Their rugged construction and two ring control make them extremely dependable in terms of pop action, seat tightness and repeatablility. The lifting lever permits manual valve opening (testing) with little force required on the lever when system pressure is at 75% of the valve's set pressure or higher.

Figure 800 Series

The Figure 800 Series has a non-adjustable blow down that is less than 10% for steam, air or gas and less than 20% for liquid. Consisting of a unitized bonnet design this product guarantees proper guiding. The valve has a full nozzle for optimum flow performance and internal trim of stainless steel. This valve is extremely dependable in terms of pop action, seat tightness and repeatability. Set pressures up 300psi for steam and up to 900psi for air, gas or liquids.

Drip Pan Elbow Safety Valve

The Drip Pan Elbow shall be a minimum of the size of the safety valve discharge and installed on the discharge side of the safety valve. It shall have a pan to collect condensate in the steam riser pipe and a drain to pipe away the condensate.
The Spence Safety Valve (Model DPE) Drip Pan Elbows are recommended for installation on outlet/discharge pipes for equivalent safety valves used on steam service. They are easily installed on female NPT or flange and are compatible with all Spence ASME Safety Valves.
